- Dream descriptions, chat messages, and other content you submit
- Subscription details and payment information (processed by Stripe)
- Support requests sent to our email
B. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Service, we collect:
- IP address, browser type, device information
- Authentication/session data
- Basic usage analytics, such as: page views, feature usage, session duration, error logs and performance data
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide dream interpretation and AI features
- Maintain your dream journal and insights
- Authenticate and manage your account
- Process subscriptions and payments
- Improve reliability, security, and performance of the Service
- Respond to support inquiries
We do not sell or rent your data.
3. How Your Data Is Processed by Third-Party Providers
OpenAI (AI Processing)
Location: United States
- Processes your dream descriptions and messages to generate interpretations
- Does not use your data for training their models (according to their policies)
Supabase (Authentication & Database)
- Stores: your email, dream entries, usage data, session data
- Protects access using authentication and Row Level Security
- May store data in the United States, Europe, or other supported regions depending on configuration
Stripe (Payments)
- Processes subscription payments and billing
- Stores card and billing details securely
- We do not store your full payment card information
Cloudflare (Hosting & Security)
- Hosts our website and provides security features
- Processes IP addresses, browser/device data, and security logs
4. International Data Transfers
DreamClairity operates globally, and your personal data may be transferred to and processed in:
- The United States (e.g., OpenAI servers)
- Other countries where our service providers operate
These transfers are necessary to provide the Service. We rely on contractual and technical safeguards provided by our service providers.
5. Cookies & Authentication
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you logged in
- Maintain session security
- Provide basic site functionality

6. Data Retention
Active Accounts
We keep your email, dream data, and usage information while your account is active.
Account Deletion
If you request deletion:
- Your account and dream data are permanently removed within 30 days
- Stripe retains billing records for up to 7 years (legal requirement)
- Backup copies stored by providers are automatically deleted within 90 days
Deleted data cannot be recovered.
7. Your Rights
You may request at any time:
- Access to your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of your account and data
- Information about how your data is processed

8. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process your information under the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — to provide the Service you signed up for
- Legitimate interest — security, service improvement, fraud prevention
- Consent — for optional features such as marketing (if used)
- Legal obligation — financial record retention via Stripe
9. Children's Privacy
DreamClairity is intended for users aged 18 or older, or 13–17 with parental or guardian consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe such data has been collected, contact us and we will delete it.

- Secure authentication
- Row-Level Security on user data
